Job Description: Abu Dhabi – Employee Relation Specialist Type: Company: Location: , * Education Level: Bachelor’s degree Job Summary To coordinate the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures within ADEC, handle employee grievances and ensure effective and efficient provision of related HR services to ADEC employees (including ADEC HQ, the former zones and public schools). Required Skills Work closely with the Section Manager to develop ADEC HR policies and procedures for ADEC, benchmark them with best practices and ensure alignment with overall ADEC strategy and values; Coordinate with the Executive Directors/ Division Directors/ Section Managers for implementation of the HR policies and procedures, clarify roles and responsibilities and ensure that the policies and procedures are well communicated to the employees; Serve as the first point of contact for ADEC employee inquiries (HR related) for assistance / information; Obtain and provide requested information or take appropriate action to resolve, refer, or escalate issues in accordance with ADEC and local/ federal laws, policies and procedures; Professionally and accurately respond to written and oral enquires (phone, email, fax, mail) from employees regarding HR questions, issues, problems, and status changes; Maintain inventory of necessary HR forms and information kits, review operational HR case load throughout each day and provide information, forms, and other follow up documentation as needed and as based on requests from employee; Coordinate with Employee Administration Section (General Services Division) to ensure arrangement of visas, travel, accommodation and travel insurance as it pertains to all ADEC employees; ensure that eligible reimbursements/deductions and allowances (housing) are reflected in payroll Coordinate with Personnel Services (School Operations Sector) over promotions, leaves, hiring activities, staff allocations etc in respect to school staff and feed this information to Pay…see more details
