Job Position: Head of Performance Management
Job Description: United Development Company – Doha, Qatar – Reporting to Manager – Performance Management & Compensation Subordinates: 1 Role Objective: Formulates and implements effective approaches and plans for training and skills development and performance management activities to support UDC’s development objectives and to enable the establishment of a learning culture and a productive work environment. Provide overall guidance to training and development activities throughout the company with responsibility for diagnosing organization needs, recommending the appropriate mix and emphasis of activities to improve organization effectiveness, and implementing agreed-on plans. Manages the development of National staff and In-Post Trainees and qualify them towards their target positions. Negotiates and establishes with key policy-makers the role of education, training and development in the Company’s. Works closely with senior management to develop, design and implement high level strategic initiatives with impact on the Company’s climate, talent management and performance, such as the Leadership at All Levels process, Senior Management and Teambuilding, Change Management, Organizational Development. Provides independent advice on career development to National & expatriate employees operating in business functions. Facilitates the creation of career development plans for high potential employees. Develops and maintains procedure and policy for career development within the Company. Provides managers with coaching / training in conducting effective career discussions with employees. Designs and conducts formal training sessions for line managers developing /managing employee careers. Leads the Company’s overall employee performance management process. Includes providing support and guidance on the performance management process to managers /supervisors.
