Job Position: Naval Architect (Workshop Engineer)
Job Description: Ras al-Khaimah – Monitors the requirements for surveys for the company’s floating equipment. Communicates with class surveyors for renewal of class and statutory certificates. Prepares dry-dock report and other marine related repairs of the floating equipment. Conducts an over-all inspection of vessels and fills E.T.I.R. on incoming and outgoing sites. Prepares budget analysis for the major repair of floating equipment. Coordinates with class and other third party marine services for major floating alterations/modifications. Updates vessels’ electronic drawings for files. Understands, follows and applies Company’s IMS and especially the Workshop (P&ED) policies, procedures, work instructions and forms. Prepares the ETIR (Equipment Transfer Inspection Report) and estimates repair cost when sending or receiving equipment. Assesses repair cost to identify if the repair should be consider as Major Repair. Prepares MRF (Major Repair Form), compares actual with budget cost and prepares Preventive Actions report. Prepares TSA (Task Safety Analysis). Supervises the oil analysis program. Assists the Workshop Manager in the implementation of his responsibilities by following his orders.
