Job Position: Officer – Procurement – Guest Experience.Logistics and Inventory
Job Description: Oman Air – Muscat – General 1. Adhere to the Company’s health, safety, environmental and security policies at all times and immediately report violations of these policies to Oman air’s health, safety & environment representatives; 2. Adhere to & support ISO processes, certification renewal & ensure areas of responsibility are in constant compliance; 3. Ensure the Business Ethics and Core Values of the Supply Chain Management Department are implemented and followed in proper manner. 4. Perform other duties upon the request of the Manager or supervisor. Primary Responsibility 1. Monitor tender advertisements through websites, journals and other media communicating these to senior management. 2. Monitor the Procurement operations in coordination with Guest Experience & Branding to ensure timely, effective and efficient delivery of requesting items/ materials 3. Analyse impact of changes pertaining to costs and pricing to identify cost changes and trends. 4. Coordinate with Guest Experience & Branding for Financial Modelling & Analysis and prepare and analyse financial & statistical data of different catering products costs. 5. Monitor Guest experience contract by identifying scope/packages, tendering, invitation of bids, evaluation of contracts along with Guest Experience & Branding, legal validation of contracts, negotiation of contract rates and deliverables, selection of contactors to ensure that the required contracts services are provided to the company at least cost and required quality. 6. Review the contract risk assessment for supplier where the materials are to be procured to ensure suppliers adhere to all Terms Of Conditions agreed whilst signing the contract 7. Competently analyse data and report findings. 8. Evaluate and pre-qualify any new vendor by collecting the information as per the approved supplier registration form, product profiles, commercial details etc. to ensure qualified vendors are shortlisted with complete and accurate information; 9.
