Job Description: New York University Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates – Position Brief UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply The Engineering Division is seeking to appoint an Administrative Coordinator for a period of 6 months Position Summary The Engineering division is seeking to appoint an Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Dean’s Office and coordinate divisional and faculty finance, procurement and academic activities. Key Responsibilities Administers faculty reimbursements, payment requests, payment releases etc Assists with divisional procurement support including vendor registration and processing of vendor payments; processes ePro requests and distributes POs; liaises with Procurement as necessary Maintains compliant financial records for budget and audit purposes including tracking divisional and program budgets and expenses Coordinates all logistical aspects of the faculty recruitment process including scheduling, interviews and complex travel Arranges travel for visitors to the Division…, including international speakers for the Engineering Seminar Series, the Transportation Annual Symposium and all other invited guests Coordinates, supports and facilitates meetings, VCs and workshops Provides general front office administration and support Coordinates space allocations for Engineering faculty and researchers at the Experimental Research Building and A1 under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations Oversees faculty, researcher and PhD student orientation and onboarding in liaison with the Assistant Director of Operations, Faculty HR and the Graduate Programs Office Manages the divisional contact list Administers course evaluations and provides regular input and recommendations on developing the process Provides general faculty and operational support including transportation, complaints and follow up Course offerings, cataloging, divisional calendar and room allocations Provide other administrative and operational support as required Education…see more details
